Altholz Container Hanau has been used for material purposes, is classified as waste wood and is also suitable for reuse in the form of a raw material. This is the case with unused wood that is generated during renovations, building conversions and demolitions. The waste wood is delivered to Lobbe’s state-of-the-art waste wood processing plant in Hagen and shredded, screened and separated into different fractions. Foils, metals and impurities are removed by means of drum screens such as the TERRA SELECT series or 3-fraction star screens such as the STAR SCREEN S 60 from Eggersmann.
The screened waste wood is then offered to the end customer for further recycling. It can be recycled either for material purposes or, as the case often is, for energy production in cogeneration plants. For this purpose, it is important that the paints, varnishes and impregnated wood are sorted separately. Small amounts of this type of waste should be taken to the mixed wood waste collection (Sortti Station). Large quantities can be disposed of using the first-class waste disposal service from Containerdienst Hanau.
